“I’m not looking at poll numbers.”

An unwillingness to answer questions presented to her in a debate to which both political parties have agreed.

A folksy attitude that pundits say is meant to distance her from Washington and make her sound just like the rest of us.

“Nu-cu-lar.”

Sound familiar?

Don’t be fooled. Palin isn’t like the rest of us – and she shouldn’t be. She’s running for Vice President of the United States, and anyone who believes that her folksy attitude is anything but belittling to the rest of America is being fooled. Pay attention to what she says, not how she says it. Know who you’re voting for, and let’s not forget the past eight years. Like Palin said, we will learn from our mistakes.

I was looking at my friend’s Facebook and noticed something on her wall graffiti… A FedEx logo, and her friend mentioned how she could see the arrow. I was flabbergasted. There’s an arrow there?? How many years have I spent looking at that logo and not seen the arrow?? It’s brilliant, brilliant! I was also looking online to put a picture up of the logo and came across this blog that talks about the FedEx logo and a sandwich shop whose logo is a rip-off of the FedEx one. Most interesting.

Edit: Now that I really think about it, though, I think I had this same epiphany in middle school, only I guess I forgot about it.

If you’re in a Latino culture, and a guy/girl kisses you on the cheek, how do you know when it’s romantic, and when it’s just cultural? Just wondering.

Yes, I am a sheep. I love sheep, though. There’s a movie out now about killer sheep in New Zealand. Awesome. But besides the point. Yes, I am a sheep, because like so many others, I want to write so YOU can read this. For which I love you very much…

This blog is going to be miscellaneous… Mostly, I’ll just talk about my observations about the world… Okay, let’s be specific: I love movies, the video game industry, anime, physics, young adult sci-fi/fantasy fiction, martial arts, art, writing, and music, so suffice to say my blog will cover topics such as those. I may throw in some personal life experiences (I can’t help but enjoy the sweet little things that happen during the day – like a dog following me to work in New York). I’ll try to be fair, but some things are just dumb and you can’t be fair to them (like Lil Bush – “crude” and “tasteless” as the NY Times says). And, no, I am not the epitome of informed, so if I make a mistake, please let me know (unless my “mistake” is actually an opinion you disagree with, like my saying Lil Bush is unwatchable, in which case you sure can argue). And, umm, yup! That’s all for now. Oh, and the traditional anime goodbye: ^_^
