I’m a college student crossing my fingers (and doing some work) to be a published author someday. My blog covers a bit of everything, though I tend to stick to things that aren’t far too serious (leave that for school).
Because I write about martial arts, too, I suppose I should give a bit of a résumé. I’m a green belt in Isshinryu Karate (praying to make it to brown alive and well), and technically a yellow stripe in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, although I’ve had enough time practicing it to be a full yellow belt, but I’m not particularly good at it, so yellow stripe it is. It’s tough when you’re short. I also have some MMA experience just because of the way my karate class works, and I’ve been taking some aikido classes for the last month and a half of summer. I’m not particularly good at that either, but that should never stop you from doing something, right? And anyway, practice always makes you better.
Because this blog is all over the place, please use the Tag Cloud and Categories list (and the search function) to explore.
Feel free to comment! Let me know what you like, don’t like, want to see, etc. I speak Spanish so feel free to comment in Spanish or request coverage of anything in Spanish. Enjoy!

Hi, happened upon your blog whilst looking up bursitis (dabble in mma training – for fun, in no way serious), and loved reading your jiujitsu stuff. Keep the blogs going!

Why is your blog called “Synaesthesia”?
August 1, 2008 at 5:05 pm
synaesthesia for me is such a special term. i don’t have it, but to me it’s just a different, great way of thinking, and when it appears in writing, it’s just so pretty. i guess this blog should be introducing a new way of looking at the world…so i’ll work on making the title make more sense ^_^
